Dragon's Desk

Desktop GM reading / session workspace for PDFs and GMX. Not a VTT.

Desk is for tabletop RPG game masters doing prep: reading PDF and GMX modules and annotating them locally before play.

Dragon's Desk with four panes open: a GMX module with highlighted passages, the Cairn rules PDF, a Collection of creatures, items, and NPCs, and a Notes list of those highlights.
A page of the GMX module Rise of the Blood Olms in the default style: serif text, color-coded room blocks with Terse and Hidden & Secret sections, and linked room tags.
  • Read PDF and GMX (Dragon's Desk's own structured format) documents side by side in a multi-pane, split-screen workspace
  • Highlight and annotate text with notes, in 6 highlight colors, across both PDF and GMX documents
  • Bookmark any location and build a table of contents, including auto-suggested entries scanned from PDF headers
  • Pin quick-reference snippets, notes, or headings for fast lookup mid-session
